CORO NUOVO ‘MAGIC OF THE MOVIES’ CONCERT

Coro Nuovo will be performing this concert for the Friends of Holy Trinity Church, Cuckfield.

The Friends say about the concert:

“This is the biggest event in our 2024 calendar. If you enjoyed our Music from the Musicals concert last year (which filled the Church, with us needing to turn people away) you’ll be pleased that we have secured the same line-up for Magic of the Movies – the 45 person Coro Nuovo choir and the quite sensational young mezzo-soprano Rebecca Leggett. This time they will be singing much-loved pieces from well-known movies. Using the Church’s cinema screen they will be accompanied by a couple of movie extracts (including, for example. Churchill’s famous House of Commons call to action from the film The
Darkest Hour) and a lot of movie stills too.”
