This special concert will feature works selected by Coro Nuovo’s Music Director, by some of Britain’s most beloved composers, including the lively melodies of Arthur Sullivan, the timeless elegance of Henry Purcell, the uplifting harmonies of John Rutter, the pastoral beauty of Ralph Vaughan Williams, and the intricate mastery of William Byrd.

Whether you’re a seasoned choral music enthusiast or simply looking for an inspiring night out, this concert offers a perfect opportunity to experience the power and beauty of the human voice in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Sussex Young Musician Competition – The Final

The concert also features the final of the 2025 Sussex Young Musician competition, to be judged by Eamonn Dougan (Principal Guest Conductor of The National Youth Choir of Great Britain).  Open to any singer or instrumentalist age 18 to 26 with a Sussex connection, this year there are financial bursaries of £2500, £1500 and £750 to be won.  During the evening you will see and hear three emerging young musicians, all no doubt names to watch for the future.  Can you guess who will win the competition?
